Our 20 Year Written Guarantee

One guarantee, covering the whole job

Plenty of roofing guarantees are quietly split in two: a short warranty on the labour from the contractor, and a separate manufacturer warranty on the materials that you are left to chase yourself. Ours is not. We take responsibility for the entire installation, so if something goes wrong there is never a question about who you should be calling.

What it covers

• All workmanship — every part of the installation, from stripping and preparation through battening, underlay, fixing, leadwork, flashings, valleys, verges and ridges to the final finish.
• All materials — slates and tiles, underlay and membranes, flat roofing and EPDM systems, timber, fixings, lead, fascias, soffits and guttering. Everything we supply and fit.
• Weathertightness — if water gets in through work we have completed, we come back and put it right.
• Defects and failures — any fault in the materials we supplied, or in how they were installed, corrected at no cost to you.
• Labour and parts — guarantee repairs are free. No call-out fee, no hourly rate, no bill for replacement materials.

How a claim actually works

You phone us. That is the whole process. There is no claims form, no assessor to wait weeks for, and no argument about which part of the roof belongs to whom. We come and look, and if it falls under the guarantee we put it right.

In practice these calls are rare, which is rather the point of doing the work properly the first time. But knowing the cover is there, in writing, for two decades is what lets you stop thinking about the roof.

Your written document

When the job is signed off you receive the guarantee in writing, setting out the work carried out, the materials used, the completion date and the full 20 year term. Keep it with your property paperwork.

It is worth having if you ever come to sell. Buyers and their surveyors take notice of a roof with company-backed cover still running on it, and it removes one of the questions that most often slows a sale down.
